A signed agreement, the $5k deposit, and a completed onboarding pack:

• Project brief — goals, target users, scope, target kickoff date
• Design references or existing Figma (we work from real design files)
• Integration accounts you own — Stripe, Resend, Twilio, OpenAI, as scoped
• Domain + DNS access if you have it, or we provision new

Once those are in, we open discovery the same week and lock the timeline.

Yes. We pressure-test the brief, cut anything that doesn't earn its keep in the build, and lock the scope into a fixed timeline before any code is written. You always know exactly what's in and what's out for the project we're shipping.

End-to-end, every project runs through the same seven phases:

• Discovery call + onboarding (brief, kickoff, integrations)
• Design direction (brand + visual language)
• UI/UX design (every screen in Figma, approved before code)
• Development (weekly vertical slices on staging)
• Testing (in staging, against real data)
• Build & releases (production cutover + DNS)
• Support (post-launch bug window + recorded handoff)

Each phase is approval-gated — you sign off before the next one starts.

You do. The repo and every infrastructure account (Vercel, Supabase, AWS, Sentry, PostHog, Upstash) is yours from kickoff or transferred at handoff. We ship clean docs and runbooks so your team can take over or we can continue iterating long-term.

Yes — React Native on Expo for iOS + Android, sharing the same Postgres database and auth as your web product. We support deep linking, push notifications, and store-ready assets when included in scope.

Every project starts on AWS Lambda + Supabase Postgres. That stack scales from 1 to millions of requests with no infra work on your side. If a specific workload outgrows Lambda — long-running jobs, persistent connections, or heavy compute — we upgrade that workload to Fargate. The rest of the stack doesn't change.

Testing happens in staging against real data — not in dev:

• Unit tests on core backend logic
• Integration tests on key endpoints (auth, validation, DB)
• E2E tests on the critical paths that can't break in production
• Load tests in staging when performance is part of the brief
• Manual QA on every flow before the staging gate

Nothing reaches production until it passes the staging gate.

Yes. AI is implemented like a real product capability: typed inputs/outputs, guardrails, cost/latency awareness, and clean provider adapters. If you need RAG/knowledge search, we can support that too.

No. We don’t rely on improvisational AI-generated coding to design or build your product.

We build from real design files (Figma preferred), clear requirements, and a structured architecture (schema → types → services → API → UI). We do use AI as a support tool for specific tasks (speeding up drafts, refactors, internal helpers), but we never depend on it to design your app or generate core production logic without review.

Bottom line: you get a real engineering process, clean code, and predictable outcomes—not an AI experiment.

Usually, yes. We start with a short audit: architecture health, data model, auth, deployment setup, and risk areas. Then we propose either a stabilization plan or a rebuild path depending on what’s fastest.

Yes — $5,000 to start. The deposit locks in your slot on our calendar and triggers onboarding (project brief, kickoff call, integration setup). It's credited toward the first milestone payment and is non-refundable once paid.
