Fundflow is a fintech platform that modernises invoice financing for small and medium businesses. Traditional factoring is slow, opaque, and loaded with hidden fees — Fundflow set out to change that with a modern system that makes advancing cash against outstanding invoices as simple as a few clicks.
They approached LevelByte to design and build a production-ready platform that would allow businesses to submit invoices, receive automated credit scoring, and track funding status — all within a transparent, real-time dashboard. The goal was clear: ship a fully functional product in under 6 weeks that could onboard pilot customers from day one.
Our engagement covered the full product lifecycle — from data modelling and UX strategy through to deployment on scalable cloud infrastructure — ensuring every decision was made with speed-to-market, security, and long-term maintainability in mind.
Before partnering with LevelByte, the Fundflow team had already validated strong market interest through customer interviews and a working prototype built in spreadsheets. But taking the next step — from concept to a real, production-grade product — required engineering depth they didn’t yet have in-house.
Invoice reviews, credit checks, and funding approvals were handled across spreadsheets, email threads, and phone calls — making the workflow error-prone and impossible to scale.
Customer onboarding, KYC document verification, credit scoring, and invoice tracking were completely disconnected from one another, creating data silos and compliance risks.
The team needed more than a prototype — they needed a polished, fully functional platform that could onboard real users and withstand technical scrutiny.
As a fintech handling sensitive financial data, the platform needed to meet enterprise-grade security standards from day one — not as an afterthought.

What Fundflow delivered in the first weeks after launch.
The core design challenge was distilling a complex multi-party financial workflow into an interface simple enough for a first-time user. We solved this by mapping each user role to purpose-built views — operators see portfolio health, lenders see risk metrics, and SMEs see invoice status — all driven by the same underlying data model. This approach eliminated cognitive overload while maintaining operational depth.
Fundflow proves that a fast, scalable, production-ready product isn’t just possible — it’s the smartest path to real traction. In six weeks, we went from an idea validated in spreadsheets to a polished platform onboarding real users.
By combining modern cloud infrastructure with a product-first design philosophy, LevelByte helped transform an early-stage fintech concept into a working platform that users could trust from day one. The product launched on time, onboarded 300+ users, and has maintained 99.9% uptime since go-live.
This project is a testament to what’s possible when engineering rigour meets product speed. No shortcuts, no technical debt — just a clean, well-architected system that’s ready to scale.
